Pacific Fellowships
We are offering Pacific researchers without a doctoral degree the opportunity to gain a qualification while completing their fellowship. Successful applicants can use the research project they will do for the fellowship as their doctoral project. Pacific Fellows will be paid at a full fellowship salary rate typically ranging between $90,000 and $120,000 p/a plus $100,000 working expenses over the three years.

Pūtahi Manawa travel grants are designed to support Pūtahi Manawa researchers, collaborators and community partners to travel for purposes such as building relationships, gaining new research skills, forging research collaborations, and presenting their research. There is no closing date; applications are welcome at any time.
Co-Directors’ Support Funding
If you require small amounts of funding support for activities not covered by the existing awards, please email us on hhanzcoregrants@auckland.ac.nz with an outline of the support you need and a justification, for the Co-Directors' consideration.
