TEC Reporting: Student Data

We are required by our funder, the Tertiary Education Committee, to report on students supervised by our members who are researching some aspect of heart health. 

Reporting is a condition of continued membership. 

For Supervisors

Please complete the form below for each student you supervised in 2025, regardless of whether the student is funded by Pūtahi Manawa. Please let your students know that all students supervised by Pūtahi Manawa members are entitled to Pūtahi Manawa membership and can join online at via our membership page.

For Students

Please complete the form below and include your supervisor’s name.
If you are an undergraduate student and you are not doing any research related to heart health, you are not required to complete the form.

Student Data

If not a doctoral or masters student (eg, Honours student, summer research student) select "other".

If the qualification has been completed which includes a Doctoral thesis or Masters thesis of 90 points or above, please enter thesis title.

Privacy

Notes: 

1. The student ID number is required, but first and last names are optional.

2. Three qualification levels are to be reported (dropdown menu): doctoral degree; Master's; other.

3. The FTE to be reported should be the EFTS value of the research component of study in that year.

4. There are 3 categories of status (dropdown menu): continuing study; completed qualification; did not complete qualification.

5. There are 7 post-CoRE destinations for students (dropdown menu):  further study in NZ; further study overseas; employed in NZ other; employed in NZ in Māori organisation/entity; employed overseas; other; don't know. 

6. There are 3 gender options (dropdown menu). Where students identify as "another gender", the option is given to specify the gender.  This is according to the Statistics New Zealand standard, which has been designed with inclusivity in mind. Where somebody does not wish to state their gender, please leave the cell blank.

7.  There are 3 ethnic group options (dropdown menu). Students can belong to more than one ethnic group, chosen from the dropdown menu: Māori; Pasifika; Other ethnicity.
